Creative Director Mikhel, hails from the island of Jamaica. As a child his parents encouraged his love of art and design. Which later garnered him a scholarship, to study fashion design at Parsons. He cultivated his creative philosophy, while designing for American luxury brands like, Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Through the years his design ethos built on his diverse and multicultural immigrant background and the exploration of gender identity through design.
Sustainability is built into our business model. Starting with our materials. We partner with small family run tanners in Italy, Morocco and the US, who exclusively produce vegetable tanned leather— an ancient technique of tanning leather with plant matter and natural minerals. It is safer for both the environment and humans. We collaborate with our global artisans to produce our products using traditional techniques while innovating in design.
